Dixie Dansercoer

Polar explorer, author, business leader, public speaker and astronaut?

Dixie Dansercoer admits that while he has explored nearly every hidden corner of our planet, he secretly dreams of one day visiting Mars. It would surprise no one who has ever met him if he didn’t do just that. For now, Dixie is content to concentrate on the preservation his own planet and the people who inhabit it.

What people say about us…

“The short expedition in Greenland which I undertook with Dixie and a few others remains one of the most memorable voyages that I ever undertook. The delight of experiencing the polar nights and the sheer beauty of the frozen landscape, but also the constant fight against the cold and the fellowship built up in dealing with hostile elements remain lasting impressions on me.”

Thomas Leysen
Chairman Board of Directors KBC & Umicore

“Thanks for suggesting the wonderful location and we all enjoyed your presentation. It was perceived by the whole team as an excellent offsite and having you join made it even more special. I heard nothing but positive comments. it was all great fun, a memorable experience. We felt a determined ambition among you and a palpable sense of purpose.”

Bert Stevens
Vice President Operations Nike Europe

“To be a companion of Dixie is a true privilege which I did enjoy beyond the geographic Polar Circles . Even when surpassing himself, he knows the human limits in extreme hostile conditions and never will push the boundaries when Nature & Ice take over command. His charming wife Julie and daughter Robin are the two helpful secrets of his happiness and charisma.“

Bernard de Gerlache
Managing Director Belficor
